Threshold Dance Studio

Threshold Dance Theater is the first contemporary dance company in Las Vegas with its own resident facility within which operates a school/studio space and a theater performance space.

There is a separate lounge for before and after activities, as well as a large bathroom for changing. There are no shower facilities on-site.

The Studio is also available for rental by qualified groups.

Threshold Dance Warehouse/Performance Space

The Warehouse is a 2,200 square foot facility with a smooth unfinished concrete floor and 25-foot unfinished ceilings. It is currently in development for use as a space for large group and aerial class instruction, as well as for demonstration performances. The space eventually will have a large Lonfloor and adjacent carpeted areas.

 

The Warehouse is also available for rental by qualified groups. It is a good space for large format industrial photography, or as an open space for model/fashion photography

The home of Threshold Dance is available for rent to qualified individuals and groups on a pay-by-the-hour use basis or as a permanent location for artists, photographers, and teachers to base their dance classes, meetings and workshops.

The Facility is comprised of two primary spaces, the Studio and the Warehouse. Photos of each are available

STUDIO: Our main studio is a finished space approximately 700 square feet with hardwood floors, painted walls and 12-foot finished ceilings. Threshold does not use mirrors, so there are no mirrors. The studio has heat and A/C. It is ideal for individual and group dance classes. It can be used for meetings that use chairs if our chairs with rubber leg protectors are used. Any dance classes must be barefoot or with shoes that have NO METAL and preferably no black soles that will leave a mark.

WAREHOUSE: Our warehouse space is a minimally-improved space approximately 2,200 total square feet. The floor has been sealed and the walls are painted charcoal and white. The ceiling is unfinished. A 9-foot high curtain can be drawn to split the room into a 1,000 square foot space and a 1,200 square foot space. A separate door can be used to access the space without going through the main lobby. This space will eventually have a stage and stage lights. It is not heated and only uses a swamp cooler to cool it. The warehouse is ideal for dance classes, meetings and workshops that don’t require a finished floor. It can also be used as a gallery, photo studio (for oversized objects) and short-term storage space.

CHAIRS: Threshold has 52 black metal folding chairs that can be used for seating for events.

RATE: We charge $20 per hour as a basic rate. We will negotiate a lower hourly rate based on guaranteed number of hours per month that are prepaid.

RENTAL AGREEMENT: Any individual or group that would like to rent our space on any basis must sign our Rental Agreement and must have liability insurance and a valid Clark County business license.
